Longtime members and former Youth Canadian National Team climbers, Sabrina and Simon Griffin purchased Ropes End Climbing Gym in February of 2008. Changing the name to Cliffside they began several rounds of renovations resulting in a cleaner, brighter and better environment that should please parents, kids and climbers of all ages.

Built in the early 90's, this was one of the first climbing gyms to hit the map in BC. It was created for outdoor enthusiasts who were looking for an outlet to build and maintain their strength and skills over the cold winter months. Since then it has grown into a prominent business for birthday parties, drop-ins and members alike. While it's small and quaint, Cliffside is frequently described as the friendliest climbing gym out there.
